The Surfers Competitor Association where IMCO/BOCA and BSFA amalgamated in one association to represent all the Belgian Boardriding Competitors.
Due to organizational reasons the OBK that was scheduled on 5 & 6 Sep 2020 at Grevelingenmeer, Holland will take place at Spuikom, Ostend, BE. The club Inside-Outside will take over the organizational responsibilities from the club WVG Beervelde. As always, Slalom Windsurfing will only take place if a GO is published on www.babc.be. This will happen on Friday 4 Sep 17.00h for Saturday or Saturday 5 Sep 2020 17.00h for Sunday.

Due to the Covid19 regulations we’ve announced a change location of the OBK at Grevelingendam (NL) earlier. In addition to this announcement the updated NOR’s have also been published. You’ll find these, as always, on our calendar but hereunder you will find a direct link as well.

We’ve just received official confirmation that the new version of the World Sailing Racing Rules of Sailing will come into effect on 1st January 2021 and will NOT be postponed in line with the Olympic Games

Tegevolge van de beslissing van de Nationale Veiligheidraad van woensdag 6 mei is alle competitie, zowel amateur als pro verbonden is België en dit ten minste tot 31 Juli 2020. De kalender is hieraan aangepast.
Na een week van onduidelijkheid hier nieuws over de opstart watersport in fase 1.
WWSV heeft deze week op alle niveaus getracht de nodige antwoorden te krijgen op veel praktische vragen;
Er is al zekerheid dat lokaal sporten mogelijk zal zijn vanaf 4 mei, maar over langere verplaatsingen naar de sportclub is nog onzekerheid (zullen deze worden aanzien als essentieel?).
In navolging van het algemeen document van de FOD Mobiliteit, verwachten we deze duidelijkheid in het komende Ministerieel besluit.
In afwachting delen we graag met jullie hoe wij samen met de clubs de opstart veilig willen organiseren.
Waar de clubs en jachthavens de nodige maatregelen en voorzorgen nemen, zijn er ook heel wat richtlijnen die jullie als sporter kunnen nemen om de veiligheid te verzekeren.

We would like to inform you that today the Notice of Race (NOR) of the OBK Regatta’s Racing & Slalom Windsurfing have been published. Please be informed that, seen the #covid19 situation the OBK Regatta’s in May have been cancelled, this was communicated earlier through this channel. You’ll find the NOR’s on our calendar.
Seen the current Covid-19 measurements both in Belgium as in France these events have been cancelled.
Please be informed that today we’ve published the NOR of the North Sea Cup – Ostend 2020. Seen the current circumstances regarding the #covid19 pandemic the regatta is subject to possible cancellation. We’ll inform you as soon as possible. Stay healthy!
